About me
I am an educational engineer and the Director of the Extended Reality Lab at the Student Innovation Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). I focus on curriculum development, AI and XR education, and student innovation training.
I currently teach courses in virtual reality development, data science, and artificial intelligence, and collaborate with industry partners. I also mentor students in academic and innovation competitions. You can find more on my teaching web page.
Since December 2023, I have served as the Co-Chair of the SJTU AIGC Class, where I co-lead program development and coordinate student activities. In December 2024, I was also appointed Class Advisor of the SJTU AIGC Micro-Major, where I am responsible for managing student progress, academic planning, and day-to-day class affairs.
Prior to SJTU, I was a Research Associate at the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) in Singapore, specializing in 3D LiDAR visualization and GUI design.
I hold an MSc in Digital Media Technology from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and a BSc in Computer Science and Technology from Northwest University, Xi’an.
My research interests include human-computer interaction (HCI), generative AI (AIGC), virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR), and AI-enhanced course design.
